At Wharton Goldsmith, we’re committed to the ethical production of handcrafted jewellery. We believe that you deserve to know where we source our materials, whether you’re purchasing a unique Christopher Wharton design or are having a family heirloom repaired at our workshop.
You can rest assured that all of our materials are responsibly sourced. From our recycled precious metals that feed into our support of sustainability in the jewellery industry to our conflict-free diamonds.
Recycled precious metals
We understand the environmental cost of mining for precious metals and consequently are committed to their recycling. In practice, this means we provide a gold and platinum refining service.
You give us your unwanted gold or platinum jewellery and we will melt it down and refine in on-site at our St. Albans workshop. These precious metals can then be reused in the creation of bespoke jewellery in the skilled hands of our expert goldsmiths and master jewellers.
Our promise to you
When you choose Wharton Goldsmith, you’ll get more than a timeless piece of jewellery and a highly personalised service. You’ll also be able to enjoy the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the production of your jewellery meets the highest ethical standards in the industry today.
The Kimberley Process are in place to guarantee that diamonds are mined and shipped according to certain ethical standards.
With Wharton Goldsmith, you not only walk away with a timeless piece of jewellery but with peace of mind too.
